The 1820’s barn was built by the Mabrys, one of the original settling families of the area. It is made of chestnut trees which were plentiful at the time and have since gone extinct in the United States. The barn is a rare treasure which makes a wonderful backdrop for photos. The interior of the center portion and lean-to area on the right side can be used for small dinner parties and events for up to 50 people.
1700 feet of Road Creek runs through the property. There is a walking trail to the left of the barn for guests to explore the area and listen to the relaxing sounds of the babbling brook.
Take a serene short hike through the forest down to the peaceful creek – fun for the whole family.
